4. MLB 2K (2K Sports)

Nothing has been worse in my video game lifetime than to watch this series struggle to stay relevant (it's not anymore) throughout the years, beginning in 2004 as ESPN Major League Baseball. What happened over the next nine years is uncertain. From a gamer's standpoint I can tell you, the only reason copies were sold, is because it was the only option for baseball fans that didn't have a Playstation. Throughout it's life MLB 2K continued to release poor quality baseball games. Each installment was either the same as the year before, or worse (2k9). But without other options for gamers, 2K Sports kept raking in the money from sales. Their license was not renewed for the 2014 season, leaving gamers (besides Playstation owners) without a baseball sim...and to that I say 'Good riddance, 2K'.
