9. Johnny Gat In Agents Of Mayhem

Very few game series can claim to have gone quite as bonkadonk as Saints Row, a franchise which started off very much knee-deep in GTA-clonegunk before eventually ramping up the satire all the way up to eleven. By this point, I’m not sure if Saints Row is a self-aware satire of satire, or if the writers have just been munching on acid like bran flakes.

The larger-than-life Johnny Gat has been a ubiquitous part of the Saints Row crew, a gang dedicated to ending the constant warring on the streets (ironically, by fighting them). Since then he’s been involved in bank heists, aerial dogfights, court cases, and, of course, alien abductions.

Whilst the Saints Row games appear to have stopped at Saints Row IV, apparently doomed to remaster-releases until the end of time, Johnny Gat, however, has managed to wangle himself a sneaky little appearance in Agents Of Mayhem as one of the playable characters as a MAYHEM agent, as bonus DLC.

In Agents of Mayhem, his powers/abilities all seem to revolve around him... shooting a lot of bullets and not a lot else, making this appearance pretty true to form.
