The Icon known as Sting is finally gracing our consoles in a WWE game and everyone is fan-boy'ing like crazy over it. Since there are two generations to contend with, 2K will have to provide faithful and authentic adaptions of both. The Surfer was his first gimmick and showed off the charismatic side to him. A fun loving and feel good entrance theme joined with the smiling, joyful expressions on his face was the recipe for this gimmick. The followers of this version will surely want the cheerfulness to exude from his entrance and 2K would be very wise to adhere to that. His later Crow gimmick was an entirely different story. Here, he was mysterious, sinister and filled with despair. And the ominous violins piercing through the souls of everyone watching? Yeah, this is an entirely different Sting. We saw at the end of the gameplay trailer that he looked very reminiscent of the Sting we all know and love. His entrance was nothing spectacular but the atmosphere surrounding it was mesmerising.
