10 Mega-Hyped 2014 Video Games That Will Definitely Disappoint

1. Watch Dogs

Remember when we were pre-ordering our Eighth Generation consoles and stoked beyond words to enter a morally corrupt Chicago with the ability to hack everything and anything, even random by passer€™s cellphones? It€™s a recipe for an ultimate anti-hero and made for the go-to game to buy alongside your PS4/Xbox One. And then it got delayed to a vague Spring 2014 window. During this period of not playing Watch Dogs when I desperately wish I was, I set aside some time for critical thinking. Assassin€™s Creed definitely became a flagship generation franchise, but its first entry was one rocky experience. I actually hate talking about that game because even your writing will become repetitive and consist of recollections of endlessly sitting on benches eavesdropping on boring conversations. For all we know Watch Dogs will suffer a similar beginning. What really raises a red flag for me though is that according to Ubisoft, the game was delayed because it wasn€™t of standard quality and needed polishing, and that they€™d never release a broken product. Then how in the name of Moses did Assassin€™s Creed 3 get released; it€™s one of the buggiest and most broken games I have ever played in my 24 years of living! Watch Dogs must have been FUBAR; that€™s the only logical conclusion. Hopefully with the extra development time Ubisoft can address the issues but unfortunately, I€™ve gone from salivating over Watch Dogs to cautious optimism. Regardless, it€™s a safe bet the hype won€™t be met. The reality is this though; we haven€™t played the games yet and theoretically they could all turn out to be winners. For now though, I€™m keeping my enthusiasm in check. Agree or disagree? Think there€™s a game I missed? Comment below!
