10 Mistakes Everyone Made In Popular Video Games

1. Panicking - Resident Evil (Series)

The worst thing you can possibly do while playing a Resident Evil game is panic. When you hear shuffling, see something lurking in the shadow, or enter an uncharted room, the last thing you need to do is work yourself into a frenzy. At all times, you must stay vigilant and use your limited weaponry precisely and sparingly.

Unfortunately, nobody does this since Capcom's horror franchise is designed to scare the absolute bejesus out of you, especially the original. As zombies burst through doors, smash through windows, or resurrect themselves as the far deadlier Crimson Heads, you freak out and run out like a headless chicken or pump everything you see with lead, wasting precious bullets.

Every time a zombie bursts from a closet or a rottweiler breaks through a door, the moment is always accompanied with blaring music to ensure the player doesn't think straight. Even though the puzzles in Resident Evil are tricky and the enemies are tough, the hardest part is learning to control your nerves. More often than not, it's your own fear that kills you, not the zombies. (I mean, it's totally the zombies, but you should still try to stay calm down.)
