10 More Great Video Games That Never Got Sequels
1. Bulletstorm
Cynics will say that Bulletstorm only initially sold well due to it coming with access to the beta for Gears of War 3. Whilst it may be the case for some die-hard Gears fans others, like me, had a genuine interest in playing the madcap spectacle that was Bulletstorm.
Unlike some of the games on this list, Bulletstorm wasn't a complete commercial failure. Having gone on to eventually sell a million copies, the recent port to current consoles has further increased the slow burn popularity of the game. That you can play as the disgraced Duke Nukem (in that DNF sucked) has added to the appeal somewhat, as does the graphic overhaul in general.
Whilst it may be a mere intake of breath than a second wind for the title, it would be safe to say the momentum train for Bulletstorm has pulled up in complacency valley. Developer People Can Fly split from Epic in 2015 but have expressed a potential interest in doing a sequel. Of course, that's all speculation, but if we can see Waggleton P. Tallylicker live on, I will be happy.
