10 More Video Game Sequels You Didn't Know Were Coming In 2020

9. Monstrum 2

Out of all the typical Horror settings, an abandoned and derelict ship might just be the most underappreciated. Eerily quiet, dark, claustraphobic, no way of escape - it's basically a Horror villain's dream!

Monstrum was the perfect example of this when it was released, throwing players into the middle of giant tanker stuck out in the middle of the ocean with only a terrifying monster as company. Players would have to use intense bursts of skill and quick wits to evade the monster and hunt down a way of escaping the ship in one piece. The action was tense, terrifying and insanely addictive.

Monstrum 2, set to be released somewhere nearer the end of the year, looks set to pay homage to the roots of the original whilst bringing a whole new fresh take to the game. Taking place on a giant sea rig that will change from game to game, the game will feature teams of 4 attempting to work together in order to escape before a player-controlled monster has the opportunity to track them down.

The game promises to be one of the most terrifying titles of the year, and we can't wait to see the strategies some players have in overcoming their monster adversaries.
