10 MORE Video Game Trophy Stats You Won't Believe
1. Almost Nobody Has Beaten Baldur's Gate 3's Honour Mode
Following Baldur's Gate 3's release, Larian Studios added Honour Mode - effectively the game's hardcore mode for mind-bogglingly committed players.
Honour Mode doesn't just make bosses tougher, it also limits players to a single save file to prevent save-scumming, and worst of all, features permadeath. If you die, that's it. Game Over.
And so, it turns out that only 0.2% of PS5 players have managed to beat the game in Honour Mode, and the number is scarcely better over on Steam - which, let's be honest, is far more likely to attract hardcore players - with a paltry 0.7%.
While it's not exactly a shocker that a tough-as-nails difficulty mode has been completed by just a small sliver of the player-base, given how passionate and dedicated Baldur's Gate 3's fandom is, it's nevertheless pretty surprising this number isn't a little higher.
After a point, you have to question if it was even worth Larian's while to include Honour Mode if literally only one in several-hundred people are actually capable or motivated enough to play through it.
