10 Most Annoying Pokémon Ever
1. Zubat
Zubat just will not leave you alone.
Beginning as early Mt. Moon between the first and second gym in Gen I, Zubat has infected so many playthroughs. Present in several generations, Zubat hides in dark caves and swarms you with every chance it gets.
Unless you bring a stack of Repels, you’re going to see a lot of Zubats. It’s true that Golbat has some niche popularity, and Crobat is a fairly popular ‘mon amongst the also rans. Zubat on its own though would be universally despised if not for its evolutions.
It’s not just that there’s so many of them, but that their attacks are so annoying too. Hypnosis can put you to sleep and take your ‘mon out of action, but if you catch Zubat, it doesn’t offer much. With just Hypnosis and Leech Life in its arsenal, you’ll find it hard to level up.
Tentacool often comes in for criticism for the same reasons in Gen I, absolutely plaguing the waters around Seafoam Islands and Cinnabar Island. However, by that point in the game you’ve usually got a strong enough team to demolish this Water Poison vermin. Zubat though attacks you early and won’t give you a moment’s peace.
