If you hadn’t guessed it already, our number one spot does indeed go to Resident Evil Village or Resi 8.

Fans of the series have been greatly relieved to see the franchise on the up and up and if Resi 7 is anything to go by the sequel should be a horrific treat. A horror treat. A treat for horror fans. You know what I mean.

The game is set a few years after the events of Resi 7 and series staple Chris Redfield is set to make a return with a surprise visit to Ethan, the protagonist of Resi 7. A not so pleasant surprise.

The subsequent events lead Ethan to a village in Europe filled with all sorts of hostile foes. The jumpscares look to be back in full force alongside the no-holds-barred frights, classic horror storytelling, and werewolves for some reason? Well, we trust you Capcom.
