7. The Medium

Bloober Team’s latest offering The Medium was supposed to be out in 2020 but it looks like it’ll be worth the wait.

You’ll play as a medium who can travel between reality and the spirit world which sounds kinda fantastical until you factor in that this is the team behind Layers of Fear, Observer, and Blair Witch. The spirit world is less Casper and more horrifying Silent Hill-esque excursions where you’ll need to use your psychic abilities against some less than friendly ghosts. The gameplay largely consists of puzzle solving by jumping between realities. The primary antagonist is voiced by Troy Baker, the graphics look gorgeous, and the game is scored by Akira Yamaoka, the legendary composer of the Silent Hill series, and Arkadiusz Reikowski.

With so many big names in the mix it’s safe to say expectations are pretty damn high for this one.
