7. Nurse (Silent Hill)
Here's a video game enemy so iconic and integral to the franchise from which it emerged that the filmmakers couldn't resist but include them in the film adaptation as well (despite video game adaptations generally being reputated for having no reverence to the source material whatsoever). The Nurses encompass everything that is vile and wrong about the Silent Hill series; they have no faces (which dehumanises them even further), are wearing oddly suggestive clothing (giving them something of a kinky look that was exacerbated even more in the movies), and have a huge penchant for needles. Players must proceed gingerly past the nurses, as they are alerted by sound. Thus, it's advisable to walk rather than run, otherwise you'll find yourself having to expend precious ammo fending off a fleet of deformed nurse monsters.
