10 Most Controversial Video Games Rated 'Adults Only' In America

8. Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude Uncut And Uncensored

Another game that originally was rated M and then had an "Uncut" version come out, with the UK actually getting all the dirty stuff in their first release, and those in the US having to search a little harder for the version with more, "Adult," material (in other words, you've got to get a digital download) This game is not at all worth seeking out however, with one big example of how it is being that the original series' creator himself disowned the game and was proud to declare he did not have any involvement in its production. "Magna Cum Laude," set out to be a raunchy comedy in the vein of, "Animal House," but forgot to bring any actual humor. One example of a supposedly, "Fun," mini game is where Larry navigates a virtual representation of sperm to pick conversation options that could seduce a woman. Oh, and it is strongly implied an opposing sports team to the school's, "Maiming Maggots," is called a particularity hurtful gay slur before eventually having it be revealed they are the, "Flaming Fantasticks." Let that sink in for a moment. Arguably the most offensive - e.g. sexist and homophobic - aspects of this game actually survived editing, as all that the Mature version cut out was the full frontal nudity and sex.
