The idea of originality is getting rarer and rarer these days, especially when the industry are more up for releasing yet another template-driven Assassin's Creed into the world, rather than double-down on some innovate ideas or an original characters that might usher in a wave of burgeoning brilliance. For Starbreeze Studios' Brothers though, originality runs in its digital veins, putting you behind the controls of the two titular brothers at the same time with an analogue stick and corresponding trigger to each. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-zT34_ackuE Throughout the gorgeously Tolkien-esque campaign, Starbreeze do some brilliant things with this idea of a contextually-altering control scheme, but it's the final act where older brother Naia meets a grisly end and the younger Naiee is forced to fend for himself, burying his own brother slowly and methodically that's the most heart-wrenching.
