10 Most Disturbing Dark Souls Bosses

2. Aldrich, Devourer Of Gods

Also holding the title The Saint Of The Deep, Aldrich was once a cleric who developed an insatiable taste for human flesh.

Consuming so much that he turned into a sludgy mass of blackness and human remains, this cannibal cleric's power and influence would see him become a Lord Of Cinder. To make matters worse, he'd then be worshipped by a sect of devout followers, who'd continue to provide him with sacrifices to devour.

With his influence felt across a large part of Dark Souls 3's Lothric, players will eventually hunt this Lord Of Cinder down in Anor Londo. By this time, though, Aldrich's appetite and quest for power had grown to the point of eating gods.

Fans of the series will be able to recognise Gwyndolin from the first game protruding from Aldrich's sludgy mass. Others have speculated that he's also consumed Gravelord Nito and Crossbreed Priscilla.

Don't let Aldrich's size fool you, though. He moves exceedingly fast for a mass of bones, making him a real threat. Keep moving from his hail of magical arrows and homing spells and get in as many hits in as you can before he teleports.
