2. Cardboard Box Espionage
For those unfamiliar with the reference, cardboard boxes are one of the more idiosyncratic tools of espionage during Hideo Kojima's acclaimed Metal Gear Solid franchise. Saints Row 4 mocks this already ludicrous mechanic in pleasant playful fashion as you and Asha sneak through a linear area taking out guards by popping out of your box, stabbing them to the death like the crazed Michael Myers himself, and plopping the box back over you as you head on your merry way. As a diehard Metal Gear Solid fan, this sequence had me stitches.
