1. Orin The Red (Baldur’s Gate 3)
Orin the Red is the chosen disciple of Bhaal, the literal God of Murder. Need more be said?
Well, yes, as this would be a lousy entry if there wasn't, but that definition wholeheartedly captures just how over-the-top and malicious this villain is. She revels in pain and torture, loving every cruel, sadistic act she inflicts on her victims and fanatically devoting her entire life to pleasing the Murder Lord, who is also her grandfather.
The character is a member of the Dead Three's chosen alongside Ketheric Thorm and Enver Gortash. But while the former fell into darkness to resurrect his daughter and the latter simply sought power, Orin was only in it for the thrill of the kill.
She's a shapeshifting serial killer who engages in all forms of debauchery, making untrustworthy acts like manipulation, backstabbing (quite literally), and trickery a part of her daily routine. Act 3 shows this off masterfully as plenty of NPCs turn out to be her in disguise, making it clear that she is always present and ready to pounce.
To put it plainly, Orin the Red is terrifying.
