10 Most INFURIATING Legend Of Zelda Dungeons
8. City In The Sky
Pound for pound, Twilight Princess may have the best dungeons of any Zelda game, with highlights like Arbiter’s Grounds, Snowpeak Ruins, and the Temple Of Time. This kind of pace couldn’t last, unfortunately, and City In The Sky, right towards the end of the game, is even more of a letdown in comparison to its precursors.
It’s different, that’s for sure - the dungeon consists primarily of towering platforms that Link must traverse, with strong winds looking to whip him to his death. THis necessitates the wearing of iron boots for much of the level, which is rarely conducive to an enjoyable dungeon.
Admittedly the City In The Sky boasts the double clawshot, one of the coolest items in any game, let alone Zelda, but this is a long time coming.
Ultimately the level is too sparse, and with too much of a reliance on iron boot mechanics to avoid getting swept away. And the less said about those horrible Oocca creatures (on a par with Tingle for Zelda’s most repellent invention) the better.
