4. LSD: Dream Emulator
LSD is one thing you totally should not be thinking about taking when playing this terrifyingly trippy game. Apparently the idea behind LSD came from a dream journal that had been kept for 10 years by one of the game's developers, which sounds quite nice to begin with - witnessing one man's inner most thoughts, desires, wants, fears. That is until you witness the game and discover that this one man had some seriously disturbing dreams. Playing involves entering dreams that usually last about 10 minutes, after which you'll wake up. During your time in the dream, the environment will be entirely randomised so no two will ever be the same, and the adventure involves you just exploring these areas, viewing the curios objects such as bird cages, statues and structures with no real objective. This quickly turns into a surreal nightmare when the objects you're looking at are bodies hanging from rafters, evil eyes, or even the Shadow Man and the Abyss Demon (who can cause you to lose the ability to recall your dreams or thrust you into new ones). The game was followed with the original dream diary titled, 'Lovely Sweet Dream' and two equally obscure soundtracks, 'LSD & Remixes' and 'Lucy In The Sky With Dynamites' (Yes, really!).
