2. Link Is The Doom Slayer - Zelda & Doom

This fascinating urban myth posits that Link and The Doom Slayer are actually the same person. The theory relies on a few key facts: both heroes are left-handed, though switch to their right hand in recent years, both have blonde hair, aren’t a big fan of talking, and are clearly into forest green.

Okay, that one isn’t the strongest but a shared fashion sense might be worth mentioning.

It’s suggested that the events of Doom are a continuation of the Zelda timeline and yet again it’s one of those rumours that’s so cool you can’t help but feel yourself willingly boarding that plot hole riddled train to concrete theory town. Both heroes are reincarnated to fight for the good guys against overwhelming evil, and both are constantly on the hunt for keys.

I know I shouldn’t, but I’m really kind of getting on board here.
