9. Alucard (Castlevania: Symphony of the Night)
The not so sutble son of Dracula, Alucard starred in Symphony Of The Night, considered by many to be the best in the Castlevania series. Alucard began his journey all-powerful, but soon stripped of his rank by Death. From that point on, he was forced to recover his powers slowly while acquiring new ones along the way, always within the colossal castle of his legendary father. Whether he deserves to be recognized just as highly is not for me to decide, but he won't soon be forgotten by anyone who explored every inch of that god-forsaken castle. And that regal outfit was top notch to boot. Nothing says classy like fighting the forces of darkness in a black coat with golden rims.
