1. Kirby
Kirby is a cannibal. Oh he may have the visage of an unthreatening little pink bubble of chewing gum, but in the cold, hard light of day Kirby has the demonic appetite of an antediluvian horror. Why does he eat his opponents? To gain their power. Like some legendary, nomadic tribe of ancient warriors, Kirby seeks to grow his tyranny through conquering, then consuming his enemy. And perhaps this is where you can find the cause root of all this insanity. For if someone in real life were to go around eating people to absorb their attributes, it a) Wouldnt work and b) Would result in them being locked up, probably surrounded by the kind of tabloid sensationalism that would make Kim Kardashian want to pull a Greta Garbo. But for Kirby, this stuff works. If he eats the lightning enemy, he can shoot bolts of lightning. If he eats the UFO, he becomes the UFO. This is why there is such a deluge of emotional instability in Video Games. Because it is an essential ingredient to surviving the herculean like tasks the characters have to overcome. Even the insensitivity some of these characters display is just what keeps their minds from comprehending the true horror of their environments. Madness is what their world demands of them and madness is what they became. Which characters do people need to think twice about in future? Let us know in the comments!
