10 Most Realistic PS5 Games

6. Metro Exodus

Metro Exodus is one of the most realism-focused video games you'll ever play, for even though it doesn't offer a fully open world experience, the hub locations are truly stunning creations in their own right.

Exodus is one hell of a handsome game, and only made all the more impressive to behold via the free PS5 update released back in 2021.

While it can't match the scale and scope of, say, a Fallout game, it leaves Bethesda in the dust in the visuals department, with its realistic weather patterns and disturbingly photoreal depictions of a post-apocalyptic landscape.

Furthermore, the HUD is integrated into the game world itself, ensuring there's no barrier placed between it and the player, and the level of detail that 4A Games put into even the most basic movement animations is flabbergasting.

In a game that's all about the minutiae of survival, the many little details really add up.
