10 Most Ultra-Violent Video Games - Ranked From Worst To Best
9. Postal 1 - 3
The epitome of the 'guilty pleasure' your older sibling had somehow acquired across the late 90s, the Postal series was certainly the source of much enjoyment when it came to doing things like weeing on flaming corpses, but under slightly closer scrutiny, it doesn't really hold up.
Developers Running with Scissors weren't really in it for the glory, instead thanks to releasing in 1997, Postal helped contribute to the more 'punk rock' feel of all these hyper-violent, parent-scaring games. Its gameplay was designed to allow you to think of as many disgusting scenarios as possible - especially in the sequel - before enacting them and giggling like a schoolboy who just discovered how to fart.
It's as fun and puerile as that sounds, though Postal holds up about as well under observation, too.
