4. Vampyr
Vampyr is yet another great game from the developer Dontnod, but unfortunately, it hasn't received the cult status of the Life is Strange games.
Far from it in fact. Vampyr is easily one of the most overlooked games of 2018, despite holding a lot of interesting mechanics and a genuinely unique setting.
The ability to play as a vampire is something that has only really been fiddled around with, but Vampyr actually commits to the concept and delivers on the promise.
That's not even the best part of the game though. The social interactions are the most interesting part of Vampyr, as you can build relationships with people and choose who you want to target in order to get stronger. It's like a combination of Mass Effect and the combat from Dark Souls.
The main problem with Vampyr is the bugginess and lack of polish, but if you can overlook that then you'll find a game with a lot to offer.
