7. Ghost Of Tsushima: Director's Cut

Sucker Punch

When Ghost of Tsushima was unveiled, many assumed it was a mere Assassin's Creed clone. Instead, Sucker Punch's samurai title was a exquisite love letter to all things Japanese. Due to the stealth mechanics, focus on character, and magnificent sword combat, the Kurosawa-inspired action-adventurer was hailed as one of the 2020's best games.

Because of its gorgeous visuals, you could easily mistake this PS4 title as next-gen. As such, it didn't seem feasible for a port on a more advanced system to make any major improvements.

And yet, the PS5's Ghost of Tsushima: The Director's Cut instantly stole the original's thunder. Even though the Director's Cut is available on the PS4, the latest version is the way to go, and not just for the enhanced visuals.

The PS5 incarnation has unique additions, including a lip sync for the Japanese dialogue and 3D audio support. It comes with an expansion, giving Jin a whole new island to explore. This DLC gifts our heroic ronin with new combat techniques, bonus side-quests and, most importantly, the ability to pet animals. What more could you want?
