10 Nintendo Games To Keep You Happy Until The Next Metroid
6. Kirby And The Amazing Mirror
Kirby and the Amazing Mirror is quite unlike any other game in the pink puffball's series, in that it follows the classic Metroidvania formula rather than stick to the rules of linear platforming games. The game's map branches out in all different directions, and using Kirby's iconic ability to copy an enemies power, you can get almost anywhere in the world right from the start.
There are plenty of puzzles to solve, secrets to discover, and bosses to conquer. Kirby is probably the polar opposite of what the Metroid franchise stands for... but Amazing Mirror is a great game, and probably a good place to start if you want to get your kid/younger siblings/whatever hooked on Metroidvanias.
