6. The Binding Of Isaac: Afterbirth+

If you’re into cool indie games, The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ is a great game to pick up for the Nintendo Switch. Played from a top-down perspective, gameplay is part old-school Zelda dungeon, part twin-stick shooter, and part procedurally generated roguelike. That means this is a game that encourages repeated plays, with the player only able to make significant progress once a lot of time has been sunk into learning all the systems.

Rebirth was a remake of the original game, spruced up with smarter visuals and gameplay fixes, with Afterbirth+ having all this plus additional content.

Confirmed for release in the US alongside the Switch, the physical edition of the game comes complete with a bunch of extras, including a reversible cover and two sticker sheets.

If you’ve never played The Binding of Isaac then this Switch release should be on your wishlist. A UK release date is still to be confirmed.
