Sometimes a game comes along with a feature that instantly feels like it should be adopted by the industry at large, and yet a year after the release of the criminally underappreciated Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, we're still waiting to see the rest of the business catch up with its brilliant screenshot-pinning feature.

The Metroidvania game includes the nifty ability to take a screenshot in-game and pin it to the relevant area on your map, making it easier than ever to keep track of areas you want to return to later - ever a tricky thing to do in Metroidvania titles.

Considering that many games in the genre still offer few concessions to help players along, leaving them to rely on their phone or - gasp - a notepad, the ability to pin screenshots to the map is an incredible quality-of-life feature that'll hopefully become commonplace in the next few years.
