10 Once Great Video Game Franchises That Should Disappear
4. Halo Their new release could spell the end for all things Halo. The once great gaming giant should accept it's successes and move on. I say "once" great, it still is great, but Halo is in danger of becoming one of those games that you'll see ten years down the line with Halo 7 and it'll be in the bargain bucket in your local game shop. This, we don't want to see. Halo has had immense success with it's releases and quite rightly so. It was the game on everybodys lips at one time or another and you couldn't associate an Xbox without this game. But in the last few years, we've seen the release of "almost" Halo games with Reach and ODST, which in my view smacks of desperation from the publishers and not quite giving the fans what they want. Yet, a new Halo has been released with Halo 4 and received very good reviews. But I fear this may be the beginning of the end for Halo.
