10 Open-World Games That Punish You For 100%

While most open-world games on this list at least offer up hundreds of hours of potential content which would dissuade some from even attempting 100%, the same can't really be said for Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

It's perfectly reasonable to 100% the game in less than 20 hours, and so even non-completionists might be tempted to give it a shot, even if only to wring a little more value out of the purchase.

As a result, it's incredibly easy to just blow through all the available side content, level up a ton, and have enough skill points accrued to become hilariously overpowered. In turn, this basically makes the latter stages of the campaign a mere triviality - at least on Amazing difficulty and below.

While some might argue that a Spider-Man game by its sheer nature handles being OP better than other open-world games - it is about superheroic wish fulfilment, after all - it does nevertheless make the "tougher" final hours of the game seem a bit too slight for their own good.
