9. Bard's Gold
Bard’s Gold is pretty cheap at around £5, and is jam-packed with fun for that price. The game is done in the style of a classic action platformer from the past, from the level design, down to the graphics.
Speaking of levels, there are a lot of them. Over a hundred, to be specific, and each of them are randomly picked for you to play for each playthrough of the game. Memorising the levels won’t get you too far in this title.
It’s obviously not a AAA quality title, but it’s not trying to be. Bard's Gold sets out to fill a specific goal and tingle a few nostalgia strings, and it does that pretty well. Your motive is that, well, you’re a bard, and a cheeky little goblin has run off with your gold.

Venture through all manner of dungeons to reclaim what’s yours, and even find some new treasure on the way.
