10 PlayStation Franchises We Need On PS5

7. InFamous

Sony

The second Sucker Punch series on this list, (seriously, have they ever made a bad game?) InFamous first appeared on the PS3 in 2009. It was immediately praised for its superhero gameplay, story, and moral decisions as you had the option to either use your powers for good or for not-so-good.

The strange part about InFamous is that while it feels like they haven't done much with the series, there is actually a lot out there for the franchise. There's two main games following the story of the first protagonist, Cole MacGrath.

Then there was a downloadable standalone game where he turns into a vampire. Then they made comics based off the games. Then the series jumped to the PS4 with Second Son, and introduced a brand new protagonist named Delsin Rowe. Then a downloadable game following one of the side characters from Second Son was released. And on top of all of that, there was even a Facebook game.

And somehow, despite all that, it still feels like the series has plenty more in the tank, and after eight years of no new InFamous content, fans are more than ready to see a superpowered new entry.
