10 PlayStation Trophies That Are Literally Impossible To Achieve

6. Various Trophies - Mortal Kombat X

Trophies that involve random elements are never a good time, because you never know how long they might take to unlock, which can be a major problem if you have limited gaming time each week.

Mortal Kombat X's selection of Invasion-related trophies - while not the most egregious examples - fall into this category, because, annoyingly, the Invasion mode isn't available all the time, and seems to cycle in and out every couple of days.

Or, at least, it did. Over the last few weeks, players have started reporting that the Invasion mode doesn't appear at all, rendering the group of trophies tied to this mode - like Stay Back and Can't Stop This - as unobtainable. It appears as though developer NetherRealm has turned Invasions off for some reason, and they haven't released a statement explaining why, or whether or not they plan to turn them back on.

This issue is rather recent so things could change in the near future, but right now, you're locked out of a bunch of the game's trophies until Invasion mode makes a comeback - if it ever does.
