With a move that literally stops foes in they track, Froslass' top skill is speed, though she's otherwise kind of weak. Averaging about 33.3 in categories including Attack, HP, Special Attack, Special Defense, and speed, Snow Land's freezing femme fatale in sitting comfortably as one of the Pokemon's you leave at a gym because you can afford to.

Much like its inspiration, Froslass freezes unsuspecting monsters, players, and masters and can detect predators and prey by blowing her -58 degree breath. Frosslass is a newer, less violent than Yuki Onna. The parallels between the ice Pokemon and the legend of the Yukinko are apparent, right down to the kimono style and piercing blue eyes. The sinister Yukinko were seductive women who lured men to their deaths by trapping them in icy blizzards.

Naturally, the poke-version has deadly ice breath. Not creepy enough for you? The Yuki Onna is a vampiric. One of the few ways to survive the icy assassin is to lock her out. If you let her in the door, she'll straight up murder everyone.
