9. Tentacruel
--> Tentacruel made its debut appearance in the anime in the episode "Tentacool and Tentacruel." Pretty original title, eh? To sum the episode up, humans are polluting the waters. They pose the possible threat of ecological disaster with the introduction of new blueprints that would be constructed in Pokémon habitats. The Tentacool, as well as a giant Tentacruel, attack the people, and the Tentacruel causes massive chaos by destroying the town. That episode alone is reason enough for Tentacruel's placement on this list. In real life terms, Tentacruel is a humongous, poisonous jellyfish. It has 80 tentacles which can stretch to almost any size and ensnare its victims. It can use these tentacles to catch up to eighty prey at a time, and often uses them to create a venomous net that can't be avoided. The giant squid is one real life monstrosity you should already fear. Evolve it into this beast and the fear multiplies quicker than a Zubat in a cave. A Tentacool might not be much to worry about, but its evolution surely is enough to keep you out of the water. That is, unless you enjoy dying from a slow combination of poison and drowning.
