Developer: Techland Release: 2015 Considering it was originally going to be a mode for Death Island, you might not think there'd be much to Hellraid. After seeing its blend of Dead Island's combat and RPG elements, in a gothic fantasy world, you might just change your mind though. In Hellraid, the player is put in the shoes of a cursed individual, who allies himself with an ancient magician. The plot isn't really the focus of this title though, which is reminiscent of the action-packed dark fantasy games of the '90s like Hexen and Wichaven. Most intriguingly, the game features an expansive online multiplayer mode called 'Game Master,' which sounds a lot the Director AI from Left 4 Dead.
