10 PS2 Hidden Gems You Must Play

4. Beyond Good & Evil

Beyond Good And Evil Truthfully, if it weren't for the fact that Beyond Good & Evil had been remastered in high definition, and released for download on Xbox Live as the PS Store, it'd be a lot higher up on this list. Simply stunning, this French release has charm, poise and action aplenty, making it the very definition of a hidden gem on the PS2. Beyond Good & Evil 2, a direct sequel, is said to be in the works, and will likely be released on the current generation of consoles. There's never then been a better time than now to whisk your mind back to 2003, a time when gamers were pre-occupied with a plethora of other games, apparently. Of course, playing the HD makeover is advisable, but even the original has visuals which hold up pretty well given the game's age.
