Blasphemous, a cool little Souls-like 2D platformer, came out in late 2019 on all platforms. The Collector's Edition of the game launched for both PS4 and Switch in June 2021, available at all good retailers.

Well, not available for too long it would seem, as the Collector's Edition sold out pretty quickly after it was released. Only 1,000 copies of the PS4 edition and 2,000 copies of the Switch version were ever manufactured, yet for some reason the Switch copy of the game seems far more sought after.

Retailing for $79.99, a copy of the Collector's Edition will now cost you roughly $250 to $300. It also seems like it's appearing online with less and less frequency, which is obviously not a good sign if you ever hoped to get your hands on one.

As to why the Switch version of the game seems more popular than the PS4 version, that's honestly hard to say with any real certainty. The only guess we can make is that perhaps the game was more popular on the Switch following its digital release, possibly due to the handheld nature of the console, prompting more people to seek out the physical copy for the system.
