10 Rarest N64 Games Ever

If you think game retail prices are bad, don't try digging up these relics.

The Nintendo 64 is a nostalgic console for most of us, whether it reminds you of your childhood or not, there's no denying the Nintendo 64 was a fantastic gaming machine. It had a superb library of titles, a great controller, and it represented Nintendo at their very prime. Of all the great exclusives that were released in its seven year life span, some true classics immediately come to mind, such as; Super Mario 64, Mario Kart, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, Banjo Kazooie, Super Smash Bros, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark and of course Star Fox 64. It may be hard to believe, but it's been over eleven years since the console officially became obsolete, paving way for the Nintendo Gamecube. Over the years, many of those large, chunky ROM cartridges have become absurdly valuable as video games often do as they age. It's all part of the gradual process as games progress from just a form of entertainment, to eventually becoming priceless antiques. As time progresses, more and more of those cartridges will be lost, misplaced, forgotten or broken, each one becoming rarer in the process. In fact several are already incredibly hard to find, most of which demand huge, ridiculous price tags for a game of several generations past. In study of this fascinating trend, here's our list of the rarest and most expensive N64 games, to date.
