No, don't dust off your old copy of the game and put it up on eBay just yet, unless of course it's sealed and in perfect condition - in which case you should be commended for your forward-thinking and self-restraint, and try holding onto it for a bit longer to see if it gets even more valuable. The Platinum version of the game won't suffice either, as what collectors are looking for is the original Black Label (i.e. pre-platinum) version. Final Fantasy X is one of the most-loved games in the vast JRPG saga, which could be a contributing factor to why a sealed version of the standard game has hit such a high price point. Just about everyone will have played it by now, so collectors are likely looking to get their hands on it in their attempts to gather the whole Final Fantasy collection on disc - crazy, crazy people...
