2. Medics
Medics are GREAT. I know we hit up the health regeneration point earlier, but sometimes it just doesn't cut it. Having a medic on the field creates a great flow on the battlefield. When you're making a big push on a base or a point, being able to have a small squad defeat a larger force because of a continuous stream of fighters makes for an interesting time. To be able to die and picked back up at the forefront of the battle is a great mechanic that more and more games are trying to emulate. MAG's (Massive Action Game) medic system is quite clever, providing all players with the ability to purchase a medic gun that will allow everyone to heal their teammates or even resurrect their teammates if they've fallen, but you need to level up a skill for that. Medics allow for more squad diversity and ever-changing strategies focused on a steady flow of foot soldiers attacking a point.
