10 Reasons Infamous: Second Son Will Be The PS4's First Essential Title

3. Best Graphics Yet On Either Next-Generation Console

This point will be a compilation of sorts considering that almost everything we have talked about so far not only sounds awesome, but looks utterly gorgeous in action too. Seattle looks like Seattle with all the rain, muddy puddles and fog, but it's also highly detailed too. It's hard to believe that water effects could get any better from last generation, but they have, along with environmental textures and more. Some things in Infamous: Second Son just flat out can't be accomplished on the PlayStation 3, as similar to Knack, Delsin's crucial power revolves around breaking apart his entire character model on the fly and putting it back together. Sure, something like that sounds simple, but it's actually incredibly taxing on the hardware, and wasn't something that could be implemented until now. And because it's worth mentioning again, that super-move looks absolutely insane in action. Sucker Punch even took the liberty of placing that part of the trailer in slow motion as to emphasise how stunning it is.
