10 Reasons You Should Move To PC Gaming

7. Performance

If you want to push your games to the absolute limit then the only way to do that is with a gaming PC. Consoles, even brand new ones, are limited in their performance. Games will often be locked at 30 frames per second, textures will be lower resolution and rarely run natively at 1080p. Instead they are usually upscaled from 720p. Even basic gaming rigs can max out the setting on most games. This doesn€™t just make the graphics look prettier. It affects a whole host of things. Lighting and shading, higher resolution textures, larger draw distances and the ability to put much more objects in the field of view at one time. PC games can also take advantage of better hardware in other ways. The Battlefield series is a prime example of this. The PC versions of the games in the series have always had much larger maps and bigger multiplayer games compared to their console counterparts. While Xbox and PlayStation users might be stuck with just a dozen players in online modes, gaming computers let lobbies grow in sizes up to 60+. The truth of the matter is that a console is a compromise in order to be mass produced cheaply. Gaming PC€™s aren€™t and allow for games to be graphically superior and run far smoother.
