10 Reasons PES 2016 Is Better Than FIFA 16

8. The Matches Are Less Predictable

Unpredictability is something that Pro Evolution Soccer has always been better at than FIFA and the matches on PES16 are the best yet. No longer does three-clicks on the pass button get you out of danger or place you one-on-one with the goalkeeper. Every pass, whether it's a lofted through ball, set piece or defensive clearance could go to either team and for the first time on any football simulation the game doesn't feel scripted. How many through balls did you play over the top on FIFA (and in fact PES) that actually put your striker through on goal? It can't be many? Mostly, the defender somehow sprinted 20 yards in order to clear the perfectly executed pass leaving you feeling agitated and frankly disillusioned with only being able to score in a regimented fashion. On PES16 you can burst clear based on the attributes of your player and can also find yourself clear after a defensive mix-up or unfortunate ricochet from your opponents centre half.
