Whilst you can argue until you're red in the face about the all-digital, all-physical media-swallowing future coming whether we like it or not, Sony can 1. Continue to bide their time and serve a demographic that's happy with their physical purchases whilst offering digital versions alongside, and 2. Forever be the company that cleaned up the mess following Microsoft's comments on digital rights management. Just watch how much they're having fun pointing the finger at Xbox's ridiculous policies: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kWSIFh8ICaA The whole physical collection of games on a shelf vs. 'tiles on a screen' debate will always provoke the most vehement reactions - you're either for or against having your hard-earned cash be turned into nothing more than a load of text files on a page - but the fact remains that it was Sony who've been in the console game for longer than Microsoft. They know how to handle the people that got them there in the first place, and they're not about to turn around and suddenly start peddling the stuff they know has tanked their main competition. Whatever happens through physical sales giving access codes to digital versions, or some games releasing digitally first or whatever else; the way Sony handle the whole thing will always be with gamers' best interests in mind.
