10 Reasons To Be Worried About E3 2016's Hottest Video Games
1. Resident Evil 7- Seriously... What's The Gameplay?
So far as surprises go, there were few better at E3 than the Resident Evil 7 reveal. Though some suspected that the game may make an appearance, nobody predicted that the franchise would now resemble P.T. more than it does recent - or even classic - Resident Evil games.
Toss in the game's incredible demo, and you've got one of the most talked-about games in recent memory.
The only problem with Resi 7 is that nobody is talking about what the game actually is. Capcom is insisting that the game's demo doesn't really represent the final gameplay necessarily, but they haven't really been speaking much about what that will be.
In fact, we know more about what isn't going to be in the final game (hyper-macho characters, zombies, lots of action) than we know about what is.
Resident Evil 7 may indeed end up delivering something special, but at the moment it's worrying to think that the game's hype seems to be built on aspects that might not even make the final cut.
