1. GTA V
Yep, we've touched on it quite a fair bit already in this article but it's worth mentioning again - Grand Theft Auto V is going to be on the current generation of consoles ONLY (at least initially). The one game that everyone and their dog is talking about isn't even going to be on next generation machines. GTA V is a game so huge, with so much to do, it's going to eat up so much of our time that by the time we're said and done with it, the PS4 and Xbox One are going to be more affordable with better titles. Graphically, it's stunning. One glance at the latest screenshots and trailer makes you wonder how a game like this being released on consoles with supposedly inferior technology is even possible. If you've been keeping up with the latest news, you won't need us to tell you what GTA V is bringing to the table this September, nor will you need us to tell you that its presence on current gen machines alone makes sticking with the PS3 and Xbox 360 more than a little rewarding.
Summary: We're not saying it's not worth buying a next generation console at all, just that there are several good reasons why holding out a little longer is better, in the grand scheme of things.
