9. EA Sticking With "Old Gen"
When the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One do eventually hit the market, it isn't as though publishers are going to allow "old gen" consoles to shrivel up and die on their backsides. Already, the likes of Electronic Arts have promised to
continue supporting the PS3 and Xbox 360 until 2017. That means, just as the FIFA series continues to be released for the PlayStation 2, the popular simulation game will continue to get outings on the likes of the PS3 for another four years. The likes of Battlefield, Need For Speed, Mirrors Edge and other such popular titles will continue to ship to current generation users, showing we're not missing out on much by sticking with the PS3.
