10 Reasons Video Games Make You Worse at Life

5. Drains Your Bank Account

I have had the opportunity of having both the PS3 and Xbox 360 in my possession at one point or another and I have to say they both have their share of problems. Nothing infuriated me more however, at my Xbox€™s refusal to play my disc stating it needed cleaning or by having network issues. The difference: I paid for my online service from Xbox, like many others. So I apologize for my biased hatred towards the 360. Games, downloadable content, controllers, newer systems, computer upgrades. The list goes on of all the things they offer and you happily pay for. It drains your money over and over, because they are always coming out with new games or improving their current ones. This drains your bank account of your hard earned cash. Obviously it€™s your money and you can do whatever you want with it, but like a gambler, maybe taking the time to weigh the pros and cons wouldn€™t be a bad idea. If you spend all your money on games, you can€™t spend it on other important things in life (whichever they may be). Do you really need that pre-ordered special addition?
